Hi all! Hope you are all good! I am ok....have me a touch of the baby blues further down regarding that, lol.

Had a blast last to get together with fun, intelligent and spunky women and eat, talk and talk and talk...and eat. My enchiladas were a hit...I think the best batch I have ever made if I do say so :) We had a yummy fruit tray with a great dip, chips, salsa and quac...and MARGARITASSSS woohooo! D-VINE!

So...that is that.

I wanted to make sure you all saw this!!!
I will be at the night time chat! hope you can come and say hi to us!

And here is the reason I have been in the funk lately...I am being way way way sharing of TMI...but that is just me...heart on my sleeve, lol. (btw...I used Jessica Bolton's Outnumbered Girl love this kit...from StudioGraphics.
Click on image to see larger. is going to be short...I have to get some things together. Come back tomorrow for a new freebie template and some fun announcements...I know a secret or two!!

Hi Tracy,
First, sorry about your funk; I'm a 28 year old highschool teacher, so I end up feeling like I've got more kids than I can manage all the time! :) Still, you seem like a very caring person and I understand how people can feel so passionately about being able to share those kinds of things with their own kids. So, there's that. I also have a totally random question and couldn't see a spot anywhere to ask you through email or something (maybe I didn't look hard enough). Speaking of teaching highschool, I am in charge of making retirement scrapbooks every year, and this year I'm doing up ones to order from Shutterfly (8x8). Since you recently raved about thier services, I was hoping you could tell me, are the pages thick enough such that someone could write gently on them with a pen, like a yearbook? People at my school submitted notes for the books, but I'm hoping they'll be able to sign thier names...what do you think?

Thanks for considering a random question from some random girl, especially with more important things on your mind. I really appreciate any insight you can offer.

awww, sweetie-pie, one can tell the journaling is straight from the heart. Maybe a small comfort is soon enough those two boys of yours will be bringing more girls home than you can handle. And most likely they will be very much like you. And maybe it gets even better and in the future you will get a grand-daughter. Then you can spoil her rotten on shopping trips and do all the girl things.

I had tears in my eyes reading your journaling. I have a daughter and a son. My son is great, but very high energy. My daughter is more laid back, and I love her for that. But she's eight years old now, and the attitude is starting. Already??? Some days I think, why did I want a girl? But after seeing your LO, I remember why. Thank you for reminding me to cherish the little things I often take for granted. Like Ikeagoddess said, save it for the granddaughters!

Hey Tracy. I am so sorry you are in a funk. I TOTALLY understand. I remember when I was pregnant with my 5th boy that I cried for 20 minutes when I found out it was another boy. But then I bucked up and have not regretted ever having all boys. I do wish that I had a girl to relate with and do all the things girls do together. My mother and I are so close and I wanted to have that too. I hope I can have the same type of relationship with my boys. I doubt it though. We will see someday. Good luck on beating the funk. Just think someday you might have granddaughters!!!! Yippee!
