I celebrated birthdays (mine and Hayden's)...pics to come soon.
Hayden had his four year old check up. All ok...except...get this...higher than normal Lead levels. Almost at level 6....they put on special meds and really worry at 10. Not enough to panic....but enough to say what the heck!! She said we DEF need to figure what is causing it and get away from it or problems WILL happen. I checked the recall lists...we don't have ANY of those toys. But...I am wanting to throw every toy we have away. Chase and I go in for testing next week. She said it could explain his anemia and headaches. If anyone has advice I would love it. We live in a 10 yr old home in California. No lead paint. We don't work around lead. We don't know anyone who does/has either. So I am stumped.

I'm SOOOO waiting for spring here too. It was supposed to be in the 40s today, but instead we got an inch of snow:( Thanks for the add-on to the great boy kit...it's one of my favorites of your kits. Hope you feel better soon Tracy!
Hope you're feeling better by now and that you find out what is causing Hayden to have high lead levels in his blood. Thanks for the pretty addon to the boy kit!
What a great add-on but the link is not working for me. Has anyone else had any trouble? I'm sorry to hear your son has such high lead levels. Did the doctor just check for it out of the blue or was there evidence of something wrong? My son will be 4 in 2 months and I would like to have him checked out if he needs to be. I would probable get rid of most if not all of the toys made in China. That is where all the recalls are coming from from what I am reading. HTH
